QUALITY CRAFTSMANSHIP IS NOT MADE IN SYNTHETICS
"Appearances can be deceiving most of the time; don't always judge by what you see".

Bohemian shares space with footwear brands that are absolutely exemplary. Brands created by honest and hard-working people who offer you wonderful shoes made with the best raw materials. As it could not be otherwise, these brands never hide from you the materials with which they manufacture their shoes. Nor do they just talk about "top quality leather" or "super soft leather", generic terms often used by those who have no interest in you knowing (or directly want to hide from you) the composition of your shoes. On the contrary, those of us who advocate transparency make an effort to present our products to you in the light of day, so that you know exactly what we offer and what you are buying... Obviously we also manufacture in "top quality leather" and "super soft leather". But we also specify the origin and provenance. Because we know what we offer and we have no need to hide it.
And we do this so that you don't find a textile lining, a plastic sole or a leather that wrinkles just by putting a finger on it, in the shoe that has been sold to you as the eighth handmade marvel in a limited edition... We don't doubt that this type of footwear, made with materials that are not noble, is very respectable... And that it may even have some followers. But it is outside the scope of what Bohemian means quality handcrafted footwear. Our standards are different.

Quality craftsmanship is not manufactured in synthetics. The key is in the finish
Those of us who advocate transparency tell you everything. And in that "everything" are always included the finishes (understanding as such the inner lining and the sole)... They are the least visible part and the one that often receives less attention... But it is the one that really makes the difference between a quality shoe and another one that is not. Bohemian The shoe is governed by ethical criteria and offers the best possible quality. And obviously, we tell you about it.
The classic plus Bohemian. Audrey, in red Bohemian
In the world of footwear, as in everything else, it strives for transparency and honesty.
Omitting information about the composition of your shoes is a trick often used to disguise a mediocre shoe and sell it as what it is not. And the fact is that, just as Bohemian shares space with exemplary brands, it also does so with others (fortunately few) whose activities are far removed from the transparency and honesty to which, as a customer, you have every right in the world. I recommend that you always demand them.

At Bohemian we work very hard. For this reason, and because we have been educated in values since we were little children, we will not tire of warning you against this type of commerce. Sellers (fortunately few) that carry out practices (plural), which we consider unethical. And the best way to do it is to dissociate ourselves from them and to place ourselves in their antipodes... And to tell you how, where and with which raw materials our shoes are made, which are yours... Bohemian is what you see. Handmade shoes made in Spain, with love and without haste... Entirely in calfskin(Boxcalf) and nappa leather chosen one by one on the outside, nappa leather on the inside, and leather and natural rubber on the sole. Providing you with this information, among other things, is where the transparency of a brand resides. And at Bohemian, we take it very seriously.

Choose our brand, or choose another one. But don't forget that a nice shoe is not necessarily a good shoe. And if they hide details about the materials used in the manufacturing process, it's a no-brainer... You can be sure that the sole, the lining or both are made of synthetic materials... Because beauty can be made up. Quality, never.
Have a great day and may the confinement treat you well!
