I dedicate the lines of this entry to tell you a curiosity about Audrey, the iconic Mary Jane from Bohemian. It may seem banal, but for me it has a special meaning. Our fetish shoe will always be linked to Rome, the Eternal City... And the place where you can find me if one day I decide to "get lost". The most Bohemian classic will be linked to this wonderful place because the first images of Audrey's prototype were taken precisely there. It was in early September 2018, during a visit to my husband who had been working there for six months. It is in that city that changes the life of those who visit it, that overwhelms at every step, where I knew that the first Bohemian Mary Jane would mark a before and after and would identify us as a brand.
I took several photos... In Piazza Cavour, on the banks of the Tiber near Castel Sant'Angelo, in Piazza Navona and on the Staircase of the Trinità dei Monti. The images illustrating this entry correspond to the Staircase, a place of enormous symbolic value. These images are my favourites. Because I am a big fan of this place, which I have been able to enjoy on more than one occasion all to myself... A place, moreover, where some of the most famous images were taken from the classic "Holiday in Rome". of the incomparable Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn.
An eternal city for an iconic Mary Jane. A place where beauty knows no bounds and magic resides in every corner. Rome witnessed the first steps of a dream... Ours. Bohemian's.
